Love.this.place!!! So fun! They have Heins ice cream so of course I had to have a scoop, and a cup of the very best apple cider I've had in years. My nieces had "pour over" and said they really enjoyed theirs. My great-niece and nephew had their chocolate muffins which were gone before I could ask for a taste! My great-niece also found a book she has not seen in several years....very excited to find it! Definitely a favorite new place to meet up with friends!

This place is a gem! Its has such a wonderful atmosphere that is perfect for kids and adults. Everything I've tried so far is very tasty, and the coffee is wonderful. The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming. They also play really great jazz music that makes the whole place feel so cozy. Its definitely worth your time!

We loved the curated selection and the awesome reading nooks the first time we visited - and now that we have a child of our own, we go to Sidekick as a family and take turns reading board books to the baby in the fun little beehive seats while the other parent gift shops and drinks coffee or snags a pastry. They have also done a special order for us, which went great. We are proud to be part of their community!

Looked nice, but there was only one table open and they told me it was reserved for conversational purposes. I was alone, so I left. Too bad bc the University Of Iowa hospital has a strict visitor policy, and it was the closest place I thought I could go while I wait for my family members to visit without me since I was the driver. Not interested in sharing a table with a stranger under my current circumstances.
