A memory from living here: As a child, I would go to the Dairy Queen on Riverside Drive with my Dad to pick up our tree for that season and spend the afternoon decorating it with him. I now have now extended that tradition to my husband and two little boys.
Something fun about you: I love stepping inside a yoga studio as much as possible! It’s my favorite pastime and hobby outside of family and work. I drop into other studios every time I travel, and I’ve never found another that can compare to the caliber of teachers in the Iowa City area.

A fun fact about me is I’ve done all my schooling right here in the Iowa City area—from kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary to college at the University of Iowa. It’s special to say that I’ve experienced every stage of life in this community, and I’m incredibly grateful to now have the opportunity to promote it.
My favorite Iowa City tradition is home football games. There’s nothing like waking up on a Saturday to “Back in Black” blaring though the streets and seeing the community come to life in a sea of black and gold—the energy is unmatched.
