First Iowa City memory: When I was seven years old, my aunt took me to the Museum of Natural History followed by lunch in downtown Iowa City. I knew even then how special Iowa City is.

Best local experience: On November 14, 2015, over 42,000 people watched a wrestling match between Iowa and Oklahoma State in Kinnick Stadium for Grapple on the Gridiron. Five hours later, 70,000+ fans watched watched Iowa football beat Minnesota in the same stadium. This is the record for attendance to a wrestling dual meet.
What I love about Iowa City: It’s a place that has big city amenities with a small town feel.
Where you’ll find me on weekends: Spending time with my wife and kids and riding my bicycle.
