First Iowa City memory: When I was seven years old, my aunt took me to the Museum of Natural History followed by lunch in downtown Iowa City. I knew even then how special Iowa City is.
Iowa City in three words: Always forward thinking.
What I love about Iowa City: The food. The amount of talent and experience our local chefs have makes it difficult to choose a restaurant…they are all so good!

Best local experience: On November 14, 2015, over 42,000 people watched a wrestling match between Iowa and Oklahoma State in Kinnick Stadium for Grapple on the Gridiron. Five hours later, 70,000+ fans watched watched Iowa football beat Minnesota in the same stadium. This is the record for attendance to a wrestling dual meet.
What I love about Iowa City: It’s a place that has big city amenities with a small town feel.
Where you’ll find me on weekends: Spending time with my wife and kids and riding my bicycle.

My favorite local experience: Football Saturdays. There isn’t much of a better time than tailgating for a Hawkeye game and cheering them on inside Kinnick Stadium.
What I love about the Iowa City area: There is always something to do. The Iowa City area is almost like a city that never sleeps with constant events throughout the year.
