fabulous place to visit especially when there's special performance program. it's owesome :) Don't miss ones. Plus history of the old capital rooms are very well organized.
Beautifully restored building, with a whole lot of history to learn. Three floors of artifacts which are gained by a fantastic spiral staircase. We love old places like this, and it's right in the middle of the University of Iowa campus. I would recommend a quick 30-60 minute stop to check it out - parking is plentiful out front.
So grateful for the great city of Iowa City to host my youngest graduation. #GoHawkeyes
Took my grandson great experiences
A phenomenal museum located in the heart of downtown Iowa City. Beautifully restored to how it looked when it served as the State Capitol building for Iowa! Really nice rotating exhibits in the upper and lower galleries meaning that there's usually something new each time you visit! Beautiful gift shop too!
