I had appointments at four bridal stores in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area and Brides by Jessa offered the best selection and experience by far! Their knowledge about wedding gowns, professionalism, and relatability made me feel comfortable immediately. I knew I couldn't buy my dress from anywhere else - and luckily they had the perfect one! I'd recommend this place to be the first stop for anyone getting married in Eastern Iowa!

I called this bridal shop because it was close to where I live hoping they could steam my dress sort of last minute, I used to work at a bridal shop and know this type of dress can be steamed in a timely manor but when I called they seemed to not want to do it and couldn’t tell me if they could do it or not until I brought it in, when I arrived they still could not give me an answer if they could do it or not and my wedding date was approaching quickly. Was really not impressed by the costumer service. The dress was steamed fairly quickly and turned out fairly well, definitely places around the area that would steam it for less!

Brides by Jessa is truly such a gem of a business here in Eastern Iowa! The store is beautiful, the employees are patient and so accommodating. I bought my dress for my September wedding off the rack from them in late January which was so helpful because I had surgery early Feb and wasn’t able to walk for 3 months. They fit me in, made me feel comfortable and I walked out with my dream dress that day. Thank you so much!!

Great selection of unique and beautiful dresses! I picked my dress about 1 year ago, Aimee was wonderful and super helpful when I described the style I was going for. She was patient and considerate when I picked out 10 different dresses to try on! She gave me her full undivided attention, even when I stayed there past closing time.
