The Project: The Lime 🍋🟩
– We’ll be stitching a vibrant, citrusy lime! It’s the perfect summer-themed project and an ideal shape for beginners to practice their stitches. Once finished, it makes a great ornament, bag charm, or patch.
The Event
– Join us for a relaxed evening of “sip and stitch.” I’m a “beginner-ish” enthusiast, so this is a low-pressure environment where we can learn the ropes together. We’ll cover the basics: threading the needle, starting your thread without knots, and the essential continental stitch.
The Cause
– Every registration helps fight for a cure. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting research and care for those affected by the disease.
What’s Provided
We’ve got you covered! All materials are included:
– Custom lime-themed canvas and threads
– Tapestry needles, needle-threaders, project scissors, and a project bag
– Take-home instruction guide
What to Bring (Recommended)
To ensure you can see those tiny canvas holes while enjoying the Big Grove atmosphere, we highly suggest bringing:
– Reading glasses (if you use them for fine work).
– A small neck light or headlamp. Lighting can be dim in the brewery, and a little extra brightness makes a huge difference!
