Ralston Rapids Garden Railroad Open House

The Ralston Rapids Garden Railroad is a large scale model train that runs outside around real plants, flowing water, and scale buildings and vehicles. Modeled after a small Midwestern town in 1959. a time when steam and diesel locomotives were working side by side. Autumn Open House dates are: Sep 20 & 21, 12 noon -4 pm Oct 19 & 26, 12 noon – 4pm Oct 31, 4 – 7pm, with town lighted. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature and may have to cancel an open house due to rain. Free admission. 100% of donations are matched and forwarded to UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
