It’s an evening of music straight from the golden age of Hollywood! Johnny Mercer’s iconic lyric writing created American standards like “Satin Doll,” “Moon River,” and “Days of Wine and Roses.”
Directed by Josh Sazon and with Music Direction by Wes Habley, this newest addition to the American Songbook series will feature a 16-piece big band, and vocals by Marcia Hughes, Katelyn Halverson, David Raim.
This concert celebrates songs from more than forty years of music in collaborations with Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern, and of course, Henry Mancini.
