Each Long Project Check In opens with a quick writing exercise to help you frame or re-frame your project; or, to articulate roadblocks. Most of the session consists of a round-robin style discussion in which participants may talk about their process, ask for, and receive feedback from the group. At the end of the session, we set a writing related goal we would like to achieve before the next month’s session. Sessions are led by PorchLight’s experienced writing teachers. The purpose of these meetings is to talk process, to troubleshoot problems, to find light accountability, and to make connections with other writers.
