The iconic 70s rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire during the last days of Jesus Christ’s life.
Performances of Jesus Christ Superstar will take place at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets may be held at Will Call the day of the performance for no additional fee. If picking up tickets at Will Call, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time.
Alternatively, patrons who select “digital tickets” will receive a PDF that may be printed at home or shown on an electronic device at the door to the auditorium.
At the time of purchase, patrons also have the option to have tickets printed and mailed for a $5 fee.
