For this year’s Iowa Women’s Archives Women’s History Month Lecture, the IWA is proud to host Dr. Lina-Maria Murillo. Dr. Murillo, assistant professor in the departments of Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies, History, and Latina/o/x Studies at the University of Iowa, will explore how the potential for demographic change has affected the legal and social environment for obstetrical care in Iowa and the Midwest.
This event is presented by the Iowa Women’s Archives and co-sponsored by University of Iowa Council on the Status of Women. It will be simultaneously livestreamed by the Iowa City Public Library on its YouTube channel. All are encouraged to attend. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Anna Holland in advance at [email protected].
