Building North Liberty’s Next Stage — a four-phase Centennial Park development project which broke ground in July 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2030 — is a win for all of Johnson County. An estimated $11.6 million is expected to be generated by the entertainment park each year, with these positive impacts rippling through restaurants, hotels and other businesses.
Hy-Vee Center, an indoor event venue, will begin hosting public events and private celebrations this fall and the connected outdoor stage, Hy-Vee Amphitheater, will host its first season in summer 2026. Future phases include a premier splash pad (currently in design), an open-air pavilion and honor garden.
