The average American life expectancy is currently 78.5 years, but the average American is expected to be healthy for only 66 years. TRAIL of Johnson County aims to help close that gap with its popular five-week seminar series, starting October 1 and continuing every Thursday afternoon in October from 1 to 2:30 PM. This year’s events will be held at the Kirkwood Regional Center in Coralville. Our Oct. 1 kickoff session, “Elderescence: The Art of Resilience, Relationships and Reinvention,” features keynote speaker Connie Benton Wolfe, former President and CEO and current Chief Visionary Officer, Aging and In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana; founder, GroundGame Health. This session includes lunch. All sessions are free and open to the public. Please register in advance.
