Amana Arts Guild to Host Annual Festival of the Arts on August 8
AMANA, Iowa — The Amana Arts Guild invites the community to its annual Festival of the Arts on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Market Barn, 707 46th Avenue, Main Amana. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
This family-friendly outdoor festival celebrates creativity and craftsmanship, featuring local and regional artists displaying a wide variety of fine art, folk art, handmade crafts, and traditional Amana arts. Visitors will also enjoy live artist demonstrations throughout the day, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
Live music will provide the soundtrack for the festival with performances by:
• David Garman – 10:00 a.m. to Noon
• Todd Frank – Noon to 2:00 p.m.
• Straight Back Chair – 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Start your morning with coffee and specialty drinks from Timber Grove Coffee Truck. Throughout the day, Home Plate Bakery will be serving fresh-baked treats along with lunch hot off the grill, including hamburgers and hot dogs. Ice Maiden will also be on site offering fun, fruity, and refreshing shaved ice—the perfect way to cool off while enjoying the festival.
