This event is free and open to the public
This social aims to encourage conversation and create a gathering space for members of the disability community. As July is Disability Pride Month, the theme of this event will be disability history in the arts in Iowa! Thank you to local advocate, Talya Miller, for co-organizing this event.
You can expect: light beverages and pastries, informational tables from organizations focused on disability history in the arts at Iowa, community and craft stations.
The event will be held in the cafe area of the second floor of the Chauncey Building from 4pm to 6pm. Parking is available in the Chauncey Swan Ramp. The third level leads directly to the second floor cafe area. There are elevators accessible on each floor.
