Iowa City restaurant named one of the best in the region

Midwest Living featured Royceann’s Soul Food in an article on the best Black owned restaurants in the midwest.

Royceann’s Soulfood is owned and operated by Royceann Porter. The restaurant is all about homemade comfort food, big flavor, and meals that taste like home.

Porter opened the restaurant in 2023 which is located at the South District Market, 947 Highway 6 East, Iowa City, IA.

The Iowa City favorite for soul food was named amongst other restaurants spanning the Midwest including ones from Chicago, Detroit and Kansas City.
