The Golden Beaker presents: the Pet Costume Contest, a fundraiser and community contest in the greater Iowa City area!
This contest is open to anyone who is interested! Enter your spookiest, cutest, and most creative pet costumes before submissions close on October 31st! We will have a panel of high school judges choosing the best costumes, and the winner will win a bundle of prizes donated by Petco and others. The Pet Costume Contest is a charitable fundraiser for The Golden Beaker nonprofit, who have set a goal of raising $6,000 this fall for low-income schools.
The Golden Beaker is a local, student-led nonprofit that aims to increase accessibility to education by supporting, teaching, encouraging, and mentoring youth. One of our initiatives our School Supply Fund, where we raise money to donate school supplies, classroom decorations, and general funding to low-income elementary schools.
