Join your peers for a FREE weeklong educational series designed to help individuals begin their own home childcare business. The Child Care Ready Series is offered through a collaboration between Iowa Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) and 4Cs of Johnson County (4Cs), our statewide and local childcare provider cultivation and support organizations. Their experts will guide you through your Iowa Child Care Program State Application in four classes, where you will register, train, learn about available funding, and meet your consultant!
Spots are open in the Child Care Ready Series located at North Liberty’s Ranshaw House (515 Community Dr) north of the Community Center, scheduled on:
Come for the one-on-one guidance from experts and group training; leave with the momentum to reach your goals and a new peer support network to launch a new business.
This free series is open to anyone in Johnson County and offers incentives to persons who receive their certificates of completion. CCR&R and 4Cs will work with you to eliminate common barriers to participation, like the need for childcare during the series and lack of transportation.
This program is made possible thanks to a North Liberty Social Services Grant and Johnson County Block Grant to 4Cs and funding from the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to CCR&R through the Child Care Development Fund.
We’re committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation at our events for individuals with disabilities. For accommodations requests, please reach out to North Liberty Outreach & Equity Coordinator Micah Ariel James at [email protected] or call (319) 626-5755.
