Kirkwood Regional Center at the University of Iowa
Along with traditional college programming, the Kirkwood Regional Center offers college readiness assessment, certification programs and other career services, and is home to the Workplace Learning Connection (WLC). The WLC enables high school students to connect school to real life and brings them together with local business and industry professionals to provide job shadows and internships. Located in the University of Iowa Research Park, the center is also a STEM hub, working to engage educators and organizations to strengthen STEM’s path from classroom to workforce.
