A favorite of several Presidents and Presidential Candidates, the Pie Shake at the Hamburg Inn No 2. is an Iowa City classic. What is a pie shake you ask? It is a slice of pie, milk, and soft served ice cream blended together and topped with whipped cream to make an amazing combination. You can choose any kind of pie or cake they have available. Their pie shake happy hour is $1 off a small and $2 off a large from 2-5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Apple Cider Donuts

Get the taste of apple cider with sugary sweetness all in donut form. They are available in singles, half dozen, and a dozen. You can also buy a bag of frozen donuts to savor them over a longer time.
Oatmeal Pie
These ooey-gooey oatmeal pies come from Reunion Brewery in Coralville. It isn’t just a slice of pie though. It also comes with scoops of house-made cinnamon ice cream and drizzled with caramel syrup. The mix of the hot pie and the cold ice cream is a perfect balance full of flavor. You can even buy the whole pie with the option for extra ice cream.
