I’m here on business from NYC and I do enjoy good Chinese food. This restaurant delivers. It is very charming that a little boy and his sister are manning the front and the boy was very helpful and polite in finding what dish I wanted. The food was excellent. I had the beef hot pot, which was huge Andrew delicious and probably enough for two people to share. I also had the grilled eggplant, which my wife makes often at home and is one of my favorites. This version of the eggplant is one of the best I’ve had. Value was very good for the meal, considering the high quality of the food and the quantity as well. As someone who has lived in an Asian country and who eats home cooked Asian food at home I definitely recommend this fine place!

Highly recommend!!! I do doordash and always get orders from Uncle Sun. Wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I ordered sour and spicy noodles with beef. It is a huge noodle bowl full of flavourful goodness. Do yourself a favor whenever you're in Iowa City be sure and stop by you won't regret it.

Some of The best late night food. I always get Dumplings and crab Rangoon. The chili oil dumplings are my favorite. Uncle Suns is usually pretty fast too. I definitely recommend this place.

All the dishes I’ve tried here are delicious including the chow mein, orange chicken, and broccoli and beef. I honestly love their jasmine green tea and would recommend it to anyone that stops by! They always give you good portions and there’s usually enough for leftovers, if I didn’t eat it all
