This school is fantastic. I can't overstate how much my children love attending here or how much my wife and I love being part of the Shimek family. Excellent teachers, caring staff, and en energized engaged community. Shimek is truely an example of the best in the nation education Iowa City is known for.

it's pretty cool and ms. mueller is the bomb. but some of the rules are kind of pointless, like we can't go on the grass even if there's just a tiny pile of snow and we're not allowed to stand up in the lunch room. but it's still pretty lit.
