I forgot how good the food is here. Unfortunately they are not serving lamb right now which was my favorite. But the gyro is still amazing. And there is certainly no where else that makes hummus as well as they do. One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants again.

I wrote this yesterday- "Just got takeout- we are regulars and end up spending $50 a pop for 4. We obviously like oasis as we get takeout regularly. BUT today we were all a bit dismayed and disappointed. My stepfather got the ala carte grilled veggies and we got chicken. The chicken containers were filled with enough meet for a whole pita sandwich. The veggies barely filled the bottom of a half pita. There was 1 mushroom and 3 slices of pepper and onion and a couple of small pieces of zucchini- it was such a small amount! And it cost as much as the chicken. Will definitely not order this again!" I got an immediate response and Oasis management gave me a refund, as well as a coupon. They also said they would check their "portioning procedures". With this kind of prompt response, I will continue to be a regular- I really appreciate such good customer service (in addition to the good food). This is how you earn loyal customers.

Planning a holiday party at work for ~70 people, posed many challenges! We needed individually packaged meals and the ability to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. Oasis Falafel was the popular choice, but they went above & beyond to make sure everyone's needs were accommodated. Catering options and pricing were clearly displayed on the website, so we could plan appropriately, and they provided us with detailed information to accommodate our gluten, dairy, and meat restrictions. All the food was delivered fresh & delicious!! I highly recommend Oasis Falafel & can't wait for my next order--the hummus & tabbouleh are dangerously addictive!!

After moving to Des Moines I noticed their hummus for sale in tubs at a local grocery store. It was some of the best hummus I ever had. I looked up online and saw they had a restaurant in Iowa city and I knew I had to visit. I ordered their half falafel sandwich and it was some of the best falafel I've had and I've had them all over America. the sandwich was incredible. I'm sorry I can't add a picture but the sandwich didn't really last very long. Funky college town atmosphere. Exceptional staff. highly recommended!
