The food is very good and I have eaten here on several occasions with no complaints. For some reason our service was extremely slow during my last visit. I'm not sure if it was a fluke or something has changed in management? Anyway, the mushroom soup is very good! And a great selection of interesting craft beers!

We loved this place. The kids were mesmerized by all the fun art and paint in the restaurant. The food was really good, portions were surprisingly big. My guy who's a fat boy at heart has eaten there twice and both times has needed a to go box which is unheard of for him.

Michael is the definition of excellent customer service! He's very knowledgeable and takes good care of his customers. Mellow Mushroom in Coral Ridge Mall by R&H Quick Phone Repairs and Target have great tasty Pizza. I would highly recommend it! Thank you for all the help Michael!!

I was a fan of Mellow Mushroom down in Chattanooga Tenn. It had a good vibe and good pizza. So when I found out a franchise opened in the Iowa City area I was looking forward to checking it out. This was my second visit and I left knowing all MM are not alike. This MM is in a mall and had a confusing identity. The whole hassle of parking, people and loud kids makes this a risky place to visit. The food here is alright. I enjoyed a 3 topping 10 pizza for 15$. It arrived fresh and tasty but lacking full flavour. It may be my aging tastebuds also. It's a colorful joint a sorta spacey feel. Half looks to be adult bar area and the other half a daycare center serving food. Both sides loud characteristics spilling into each other. My server, Christopher did a most excellent job and over all the experience was good. Next time I'll do a mid afternoon visit while the chitlins are in school for a more relaxed dining experience.

Some of the best food in iowa! Everything is hand made and tastes better for it. Servers are kind. Over all relaxed environment, will be a returning costumer.
