This is everything a hotel should be! Clean, comfortable, relaxing! I loved everything about our stay from the comfortable bed to the large soaking bath tub. I took a star off because it’s hard to find & get in/ out of with luggage- there is no pull in & the cars in front were parked over an hour so we had to haul everything on the trolly down the street- there is also no parking so we had to leave our vehicle over night in an off site parking garage that wasn’t very secure

My room was fine...but the balcony door would not lock for the life of me. Also, so accustomed to other Hilton hotels and was expecting to have a blow dryer in the bathroom for me. This is a mini studio... not a hotel. No room service. Plan to do your own grocery shopping. Parking is also unideal with no valet option

I visited Iowa to reconnect with family. I was hoping for a very unique hotel experience in the downtown area. I fell in love the convenience of the Hotel Vetro. Sushi and a Gourmet Supermarket in the same location was more than I could ever ask for in a hotel. The service was great and every was very friendly. The view from my King/Kitchenette suite was awesome. I was so impressed with the fully stocked kitchen. The bath inspired a spa night. Thank you Matt for finding a chair that made my stay more comfortable and the dark haired young lady that was so helpful with my family. I am also very grateful to the African American gentlemen that greeted me when I arrived and checked in after midnight. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Vetro next time I visit Iowa City.
