We had our family together for two nights. Everything went perfectly. We had three rooms and we were able to enjoy everyone together in one room due to the space in the room. The breakfast was tremendous with great choices. The evening reception was also very nice. We did not even need to go our for dinner those evenings.

Phenomenal service. Kind employees that will go out of the way to help you. The GM is engaged and it is obvious she loves her job. Clean rooms, great breakfast and excellent happy hour with appetizers. I frequently use the gym and it is always clean and has enough equipment. I travel to Iowa City frequently for work and this is the best place to stay in the region. Highly recommend!!

It was really a nice day. I have to say that the staff was super friendly and they gave us everything that we needed. The location was great. There's an outdoor mall with a ton of restaurants and specialty shops just outside the front door. It's walking distance from an antique car museum. My only complaint is that we had what was considered a one bedroom handicapped accessible suite and it was on the small side. The kitchen was nice. It had a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. A two burner stove with pots and pans and dishes and even a toaster. A kitchen table that stuck out from the wall and then the entrance to the living room area had a big armchair just A short distance from the table which was impossible to get my wheelchair through The room with the two beds was impossibly small. I could not use my wheelchair in there but the bathroom was big and had a nice removable handicap seat for the shower. The pillows were too soft. They started out fluffy but ended up pretty flat. I had to send my husband to the store for a firmer pillow because they did not have that option. Other than that we were very happy. The room was neat and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay there again

My husband stayed at this hotel last night. He loved it! He had never stayed at a Homewood Suites before (normally Hampton Inn), but he decided to give this place a try. He checked out with Jenna this morning and left his key card on the counter in the envelope. He had left his computer ID card in it as well. Luckily, she took the card out of the sleeve and saw the ID card after he left. She called him within 5 minutes to let him know. SHE SAVED THE DAY! Way to make a difference, Jenna!!!

I really enjoy this place. Homewood Suites are really nice properties in general, and this one is located the River Landing area, a sort of "up and coming" neighborhood in the Coralville/Iowa City area. This time we stayed in a one bedroom 2 queen suite. The room was spotless, and the feel is very clean and modern. The kitchenette featured a two burner cooktop and the refrigerator is full-sized. The kitchenette is also fairly well stocked with cookware and tableware and should be good enough for most occasions. We only stayed for one night this trip so we really didn't take advantage of it. The complementary breakfast offered plenty of options, but as seems usual on weekends, the breakfast area can be a bit crowded if you don't arrive really early. The River Landing area is very new and since there is no through-traffic it's very pedestrian friendly. There are several decent places to drink or dine within short walking distance. My favorites are Konomi (for sushi) and Vesta.
