Crandic Park was cool, shady, and breezy on July 10th when we were there. The view was beautiful unless you mind the fact that the Iowa River is brown and now stinky too. The park tables in the Crandic Shelter are okay but nee6 to be cleaned up (bird poop) more often. Still, we enjoyed our rest there.

Very nice park to spend some down time in, nice view of the river and eagles and other birds. It is just a place to park and do some walking, no benches or toys, just quiet and nature and a few cars, but well worth it. The rest of the area around it is all developed, break in the action.
