A hidden gem in Iowa City. The B&B is close to Hancher Auditorium and restaurants, but feels like it's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The B&B is clean with all the amenities and it felt just like a home away from home. The hostess is a great cook and well traveled. Be sure to ask her about her adventures around the world.

Wonderful stay at 2 Bella Vista. Lovely, clean and warm and a beautifully decorated home. Daissy, our host, is delightful. Her generosity and warmth and hospitality is special. This is one of my favorite places. It is on a lovely quiet street, a short walk to historic downtown Iowa City, to restaurants, and to the University of Iowa. A lovely deck if you would like to sit outside and chat and read. The beds are comfortable. The attached bathroom is very nice. Everything is clean and her place feels like home. Our breakfasts were delicious and served so elegantly. Thank you. I hope to return. One of my favorite places. Loved my stay. Miss Bella Vista!

My boyfriend and I stayed here and had the best time! The bed was comfortable and really liked the room we stayed in. Felt like we really had our own space which was great. We stayed for two nights and both of the breakfasts Daissy cooked for us were delish. She was extremely accommodating. we loved listening to her stories from her travels. we will return!

Daissy was a great host at this Bed and Breakfast! The place was very clean, located in a nice area close to downtown and the university, and had a lot of nice touches with travel photos, interesting furniture, and lovely breakfasts! Highly recommended!

Excellent stay at A Bella Vista. It feels like one is staying in a friend's home--warm, cozy, beautifully appointed and Daissy (the owner) has wonderful stories to share. Daissy takes great care of her guests from her beautifully presented breakfasts to all the little details she provides to ensure a comfortable stay. The B&B is located in the historic district of Iowa City and is walking distance from restaurants, the university, and downtown on a beautiful and tranquil street.
