The 20th anniversary of Herky on Parade ended on Aug. 30 at FRYfest in Coralville with a final farewell to the 101 unique statues created by local and regional artists.

Some of the statues that were purchased after their final farewell are now on display again!

The private owners of these statues have informed Herky on Parade of their locations to be viewed by the public.

An auction was held from Aug. 23-Sept. 6 where individuals could place bids on statues that hadn’t been purchased by their sponsors.

Proceeds from the 3rd edition of Herky on Parade will be provided to the Foundation for the Iowa City Community School District and Clear Creek Amana School District to support ongoing art education programs. Herky on Parade is a cooperative effort between the University of Iowa Department of Athletics, the Cities of Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Solon, Tiffin, Think Iowa City and Iowa City Area Sports Commission.
