LaLa DeLo is a Soul and R&B songstress. She mixes soulful vocals with other genres of music such as Rock, Reggae, Blues and Country. With an extensive background in gospel music as a foundation she has been influenced by a wide variety of music by sultry and dynamic singers – from Aretha, Lionel, B.B. King, Whitney to Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan to Ari Lennox. DeLo is a gifted songwriter and has a deep love for harmonies and background vocals. She’s known for her “mellow, cello tones of her alto voice.”

DeLo feels deeply connected to United Action for Youth (UAY) for providing a space during the pandemic to record her first single “Fool For Wanting You.” With deep admiration for the way UAY’s Swaim Youth Center provides a safe haven for local youth, it is her goal to share her talents in order to support young people who are still finding their own.

DeLo views this musical venture as a declaration: it’s never too late to pursue your passion because we all have creativity in our souls.
