Join us for a restaging of UI alum Duane Lee Holland’s 2015 thesis performance, “Saved, by Becoming a Slave to the Rhythm!” in collaboration with Michele Byrd-McPhee and dancers from UI. The performance will be followed by a conversation between Holland between Byrd-McPhee.
Holland’s thesis was, in part, influenced by Keith Haring and the breaking scene in New York City in the 1980s and 1990s.
