Tom Banta, VP & Director of Strategic Growth at ICAD/Business Partnership
Tom graduated a Hawkeye with a degree in Economics before embarking on a diverse and winding path of business and relationship development opportunities.
From Automated Vehicles and Education Technology to Natural and Organic Foods, Tom takes his work seriously, but rarely himself. He found his way to ICAD via a sorted and checkered career history with roles at Allsteel, Tippie College of Business, and community place-making with the Blue Zones Project. Along the way he has lived in Silicon Valley and Austin, TX, but proudly calls Iowa City his home.
David Tominsky, Chief Relationship Officer at NewBoCo
David spent the first 15 years of his career in the technical staffing industry. After spending 10 years growing the Iowa market for one of the largest staffing companies in the world, he helped launch an IT consulting division for an established HR consulting company before starting his own IT and engineering staffing firm. His work involved recruiting highly skilled technical talent for Iowa-based companies.
Today, Tominsky serves as the Chief Relationship Officer for The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative where he leads the NewBoCo Studios and NewBoCo Entrepreneurship and Innovation teams. NewBoCo Studios is a full-service startup and venture studio that offers technical, creative, go-to-market, and digital marketing services. The NewBoCo Entrepreneurship and Innovation team include the Iowa Startup Accelerator, Kiva Iowa, and the NewBoCo Community Partner program that collaborates with Iowa communities, rural and urban, to promote tech education and entrepreneurial support programs.
