On Saturday, June 4, mega kites will soar above North Liberty’s Centennial Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come for awe-inspiring views, and information, activities and giveaways from LGBTQ community groups and sponsors for an all-ages community celebration of love.

Attendees will be invited to create a button with their preferred pronouns, sign a community banner to pledge their support and commitment to helping make sure everyone feels welcome in North Liberty, and learn from and connect with LGBTQ community groups including United Action for Youth, Better Way Forward, CCA PLUS, Liberty High PRISM, LGBTQ Iowa Archives & Library and LSA of Eastern Iowa.

Additionally, everyone is invited to capture FOMO-inducing photos among the 50- to 200-foot-long giant kites, dance in a silent disco party, play games and receive giveaways and an airbrush tattoo from event sponsors.
