Mexican-American composer Nathan Felix will present his new immersive opera titled The Great Flood at the Stanley Museum of Art (160 W Burlington St, Iowa City, IA 52242) on Thursday April 27th at 6:30 pm.  The Great Flood explores the history of floods in Iowa as well as themes that a river can bring both life and death while also being a source of nourishment or division. It features sopranos Siyeon Kim, Rachel Kobernick, mezzo-soprano Jordan McCready and tenor Nathan Brown. This immersive opera will occur in and around numerous galleries within the Stanley Museum of Art and will weave amongst the audience.
