Heartfelt Trucking formed in 2003. The duo consists of Nick Stika and Tom Nugent. Both are veterans of the local music scene, Tom working with many bands since embarking on his musical journey in the 1960s, and Nick working with many groups since the 1970s. Nick worked in a local music store and Tom was a customer, after many conversations about music and interests, they decided to form the duo. The music Heartfelt Trucking performs is varied and diverse. Everything from The Beatles to Pink Floyd, John Prine to Jimmy Buffett. The two are fond of many of the local area folk singers that have come through over the years, such as Peter Mulvey and Richard Shindell, and cover their music and others in their sets. You may hear rock and roll classics, or you may hear classic country from the 1970s, such as Willy and Waylon, or even Merle Haggard.
