We will be celebrating the #fREADdom to read and spotlight current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. Join ICPL, City of Iowa City Office of Equity & Human Rights, and the UNESCO City of Literature, as we present a fun-filled afternoon for the entire community. Live music, crafts, book readings and more will take place outside on the Ped Mall surrounding the library. Books unite us!
How to participate
The event will take place on the Pedestrian Mall from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 25. The rain location for this event will be inside the Iowa City Public Library.
