The Family Folk Machine presents a fall concert, Carry On: Songs for Living!, with songs about how we keep on keeping on and how we bear each other up through hard times. The concert will be at 3:00 on Sunday, November 13, at the Englert Theatre in downtown Iowa City. With songs by David Byrne, Valerie June, Pete Seeger, James Taylor, Bridget Kearney, and more, plus lots of audience sing-alongs, we hope you’ll come join us and find some new ways to carry on. The concert is free and open to all. We’ll gratefully accept free-will donations to support our work as we approach our ten-year anniversary.
