As my friend and painter Deb Zisko told me 27 years ago, when I was looking for a framer, "'Nick is the only person I trust with my work.'" And Deb is absolutely correct. Nick Hotek, the proprietor of the Hudson River Gallery not only has an impeccable eye for detail, is an excellent craftsman, a longstanding outstanding supporter of artists, and he is also incredibly charming and stylish. Why wouldn’t you want to have the art in your home and workplace from the best place in town?
Uhgn... Just so, so perfect. My life... so much better now. I can't even look at old pictures of myself anymore. That person isn't me now. I am healed. Thank you
Nick is one of the nicest and most helpful proprietors you'll ever deal with. He has an excellent selection of top-quality frame moldings, included natural burls and imported Italian stock. He did a wonderful job of reframing a 50-year-old painting for me. I will definitely go back to him for future work. As an added bonus, he has a small gallery with changing exhibitions of local artists.
I have used Mr.Hoteks services many times. He does the highest quality work with a vast array of unique choices of frames. He has also done excellent repair work for me.
