I have never found any other coffee place in Iowa better than here. Here’s the combination of Comfy atmosphere & Perfect coffee & Warm staff members. They serve a cup of memory, not only a coffee.

This is the most unique and creative coffee shop I've been to. Their drinks focus on the origin of their various beans (some of which they roast themselves!) and bringing out the best of the natural flavors their coffees provide. Their flavored drinks are fantastic and go far beyond the caramel/vanilla/hazelnut you find at most shops, and they're still careful to let the coffee's origin characteristics shine through. All the baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable (shoutout to Tucker!) and half the fun of going is to see their artistic process.

While Daydrink without question serves the most unique black coffee and drinks in town, each member of the Daydrink team goes out of their way to make this little shop into a community. Beyond that, it's great to have a coffee shop pushing for sustainability. Getting used to returning my glass jars or bringing my own mug can be tough to remember sometimes, but it has quickly become a normal part of my routine. I can't recommend this place more -- particularly if you're into trying unique coffee roasted here in Iowa City by the Daydrink team themselves, and from some of the best roasters in the world.
