I seriously cannot say enough positive things about Da Flava Unit. They were amazing to work with for our block party. Communication was amazing, they were accommodating to a date change, so friendly, and the food was out of this world. The jerk chicken and tacos were fabulous. I've never tasted anything so good. And the potato salad and rice and beans were outstanding.

Don't let the small shop fool you, the food is good! I brought home takeout: jerk chicken taco dinner and jerk steak taco dinner. Brought home some of their mild and spicy jerk sauces too. The service was great, the food was delicious. As a Latino, I was expecting the rice and beans to not meet expectations, but I was wrong. My first bite of the beans and rice was great and I kept going. We shared the tacos and it is definitely worth trying them both. They each have their own flavor, as they should, and each is good. They've been at the new location for five months now and I can't believe I waited this long to try their food. I'll have to go again and you should too.

Everything was on point & the vibes are even better. Emphasis on Flava! The vegan tacos are legendary, ate em too fast to snap a picture.

Whenever we travel, we try to find the lessor knowns, the greasy spoon or the local secret spot. We weren't trying to on this particular short trip, but man am I glad we found this one! The food was excellent. I had the elotes along with one son and wife, my other kids got tacos. Everyone was blown away by the jerk chicken and beef mixed with corn and cheese and chips of your choice, dusted with a heavenly seasoning and cheeses. We added several of the available hot sauces to spicen things up. The owners and staff were wonderful in our interactions and showed this wasn't just a business venture, but a passion. I wish I lived closer so we could make this a regular visit! If you're in the area, skip the big name restaurants and stop in for an awesome meal! Kid-friendliness: This is a family operated, small business and they seemed willing to make any modifications you might need to their menu items. Parking: This is in a mall, lots of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level and wheelchair accessible.
