World T’ai Chi and Qigong Day is celebrated each year on the last Saturday of April. The world-wide event begins at 10:00a.m. in the earliest time zones of Samoa, then travels through each time zone across the globe. Join us from 10:00-11:30a.m. CDT in downtown Iowa City to observe a demonstration of T’ai Chi practice by local T’ai Chi instructors and students. And, the public is invited to actively participate in Qigong movements led by local Qigong instructors. Experience T’ai Chi and Qigong practices that have helped millions around the world. Increase your awareness and education towards the greater world and foster a deeper understanding of the power of culture. This is a FREE public event.
