ALL IN A DAY PLAY FEST IS 4-20-2024!
The All in a Day Play Festival is sponsored by Dreamwell Theatre, Iowa City Community Theatre, Riverside Theatre, and Run of the Mill Theatre Productions.
On Friday evening, April 19th, writers, directors, and actors will come together to create original plays. Writers are randomly assigned a location, a genre, and one other dramatic detail to include in their scripts. Writers, actors, and directors brainstorm ideas and then the writers leave to create ten-minute plays by Saturday morning when the actors and directors receive the play. The show is rehearsed during the day on Saturday.
These brand new, original short works will be performed on Saturday, April 20th at 7:30 pm at the Iowa City Community Theatre… just 24 hours after the start of the festival!
Tickets to the Saturday night performance are $10, and can be purchased at the door. This will be the last show at ICCT’s current location, 4261 Oak Crest Hill Rd SE, Iowa City, IA 52246. Seating is general admission.
